Charging Iran’s Ministry of Information and Security with support to terror, violation of human rights and support to the Syrian administration the US Ministry of Finance stated to impose the sanctions against this body. As spreading the statement on it David Kuhan, the deputy of US Minister of Finance on terror and financial information, charged Iran’s Ministry of Information and Security with violating the rights of the citizens and supporting Syria to repress the actions of this country’s opposition. The support of Iran to Al-Qaida, to the wing of this organization acting in Iran, to Hezbollah and HAMAS shows this country’s policy of support to terror, said Kuhan.
By the new announced sanctions, the visits of Iran’s Ministry of Information and Security to the US are forbidden and all accounts of this organization are blocked. As well as, all kind of commerce of the US companies and citizens with this organization are put a ban on.
To note, before the US has imposed the sanctions on Al-Quds staff of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, Disciplinary Forces and several high rank militaries and political figures. In addition the US has imposed the sanctions on Iran’s oil industry, central and some other banks, as well as many companies close to the state and officials too. The EU, Canada and Australia have applied the unilateral sanctions against Iran too. In result of these sanctions the price of the currency has gotten to record level and this country meets the serious difficulties in creating normal commercial relations with its foreign partners.
