Attacking the home of ayatollah Montazeri’s son Ahmad Montazeri, Iran’s security services searched the home and seized some documents and effects. As well as setting a seal at the part of the home used as an office they put obstacle visit of the people to this office.

Giving an interview on it to the foreign radios Ahmad Montazeri stated that the security forces appeared as the municipality officers. After opening the door they entered inside and searched without saying anything, as well as took some effects seizing them. Then putting a seal at one room of the home, they put a ban to visit of the people for the religious affairs.

To note, ayatollah Montazeri’s office was put a seal 9 months ago as well. His effects, as well as seal, CD’s, money and other precious things, as well as the books were seized. The officers locked the doors of Montazeri’s office with welding and banned entering. Montazeri’s office was closed by the decision of the Special Clerical Court. By the words of Ahmad Montazeri, the officers came to his home showed the decision of the Special Clerical Court too.

`Recently addressing the letter to the Supreme Religious Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Ahmad Montazeri gave warning about the situation in the country. The Supreme Religious Leader has a duty to prevent the country from collapsing, breaking and devastating, he said in the letter. As he stated, though the letter hadn’t been answered, the security services said him that writing such letters could brought to against the Islamic Republic and weakening of the administration. Most likely the pressures against Montazeri happen because of his political views and the critical thoughts against the administration.
