Nasrollah: “Iran has always given every assistance to Hezbollah”

In the video addressed to the supporters the leader of Hezbilah organization in Lebanon Sheikh Hassan Nasrollah stated the all-round support given by Iran to this organization. By his words, alongside with political, material and moral support given by the Iranian officials to this group, they support its position in the international world. They have gotten all necessary support from Iran up to now, he added.

But the Iranian officials have stated till now that they give only moral and political support to Hezbollah. But Sheikh Hassan Nasrollah’ statement is considered as the first confession of all-round support given by Iran to Heszbollah.

Hezbollah group in Lebanon is a military and political organization. This organization was found on a basis of the “political Islam” ideas of Khomeini at the early 1980’ after the Islamic revolution in Iran. During the civil war in Lebanon, Hezbollah was being trained SEPAH (Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps) and this organization has been strengthened with financial and political supports of the IRI. There were 3 main targets in founding Hezbollah: to annihilate the traces of the Western and imperialism in Lebanon, to struggle with Lebanese Falanjs and to establish an Islamic power in Lebanon. Many western countries fairly located Hezbollah in the list of terror organization.

Iran has always supported Hezbollah. The Foundation of martyrs in Iran has given assistance materially and morally to this group from the date of its establishment. Iran had sent within 2006-2010 the aid in more than 1 billion dollars for reconstruction of the places of Lebanon ravaged in a result of the war. Those aids were spent by Hezbollah as well.

As it is evident though Iran refutes the fact, tensing of the situation around the country has made the armed groups close to this state to confess. But it is known to very little forces besides Nasrollah if he confessed it intentionally or inadvertently
